Car door locks enter a new era of...

Door locks have always been an important family member in car door systems. In the past, it only shouldered the important task of anti-theft, but now with the continuous development and iteration of products, door locks and other door system components are allowing more and more functions of the original concept car to appear in production cars. The new door lock series developed by Brose's local team in China not only meets the traditional needs of existing vehicle door opening and closing, but also makes gesture opening, face recognition, APP unlocking and other functions no longer out of reach, making "opening and closing car doors" a task Things are more technological. Platform design flexibly meets the full needs of various vehicle models. The new side door lock product is based on Brose's locally developed door lock platform, which not only achieves the versatility of common components, but also shortens the development cycle and reduces production and manufacturing costs. It can also be functionally modular. The design concept meets the differentiated needs of different vehicle platforms and takes into account the application needs of traditional fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles. All platform products follow a compact structural design and are easy to arrange, bringing greater flexibility to door design. Outstanding sound performance brings a high-quality door opening and closing experience to end consumers. Currently, there are three door lock products designed using this platform, namely: central lock with one-button locking function, super lock with higher security, and high-end lock that meets the needs of future automation and intelligence. Intelligence + security empower a new vehicle experience. As the star item among the three products, the high-end lock can meet many needs for intelligent car doors. When carrying a large number of belongings, the user only needs a gesture or movement to trigger the electric release function of the door lock. The motor in the lock unlocks through a series of mechanisms, and then drives the ejection mechanism to reach the fully open position of the door. Pair it with facial recognition or mobile APP to make your "getting in the car" process more technological. When locking the car, just push it gently, and the self-closing mechanism of the door lock can bring the door to the fully closed position. Whether you are sitting in someone else's car or someone else is sitting in your car, you can close the car door gracefully and politely. While the hidden or even handleless door design achieves a simple and smooth vehicle appearance, the self-locking function of the door lock combined with the upper side door drive system brings a ceremonial entry and exit experience, allowing consumers to feel the respected luxury style. The high-end lock also has very practical ice-breaking and snow-loading functions. Some northern car owners may encounter situations where the temperature is too low, causing the car door to freeze. At this time, the ice-breaking function of the high-end lock can use the self-priming motor to provide assistance and easily open the door. In addition, the electric release door lock equipped with a mechanical snow load function can keep the door lock open after unlocking, ensuring the linkage application of the side door driver and improving the stability and reliability of the intelligent door opening and closing system. In terms of safety, the high-end lock retains a complete mechanical release function and can be unlocked by pulling the door handle from the inside or outside. When the vehicle encounters an accident such as a collision, the door can be quickly opened to allow passengers to escape or wait for rescue. This is particularly important in electric vehicles that are full of circuits, as it can ensure the smooth flow of the "escape channel" during the golden rescue time of a few minutes after the vehicle catches fire. In addition, all side door lock products have undergone a series of rigorous tests to ensure the high stability and reliability of the door lock as a key vehicle component. For example, the product has passed the 200,000 opening and closing durability test, which is double the industry requirements, and has undergone tests such as water spray and dust simulation, and can withstand complex environmental tests. At present, Brose's new central locking products have taken the lead in mass production in China and are used in new models of well-known local car companies. Super locks and high-end locks are planned to be put into production from 2023 to 2024 to meet the needs of customers in the local market for higher functionality of vehicles.
